The water will dilute the dressing and you don’t want that. If you are using frozen corn I let the bag sit on the counter for a half an hour and then place it in a strainer to remove any water. If you are using canned corn you will need to drain away the liquid. When I make it for Cinco De Mayo I’m going to use the Chili Fritos for extra kick to go with the tacos! Tips For Making this Taco Corn Salad with Fritos Use what you can find on sale to save money, this is an easy thing to adapt.Įither regular Fritos or the Chili Fritos work in this salad. Monterey Jack, Swiss, Colby - any of them. I used cheddar cheese, but any semi-hard cheese like you buy in block form will work.
